For nearly two decades, I have worked both agency side and in-house to help brands tell their stories and connect with consumers by catering my own brand of storytelling to the needs of my clients and partners—all through a doggedly consumer-centric lens.
While agency work honed my adaptability and storytelling craft, stepping in-house allowed me to engage with a flagship brand as well as every sub-brand and extension on a far more intimate level, giving me an insider’s perspective on what makes their messaging resonate with their respective audiences.
To best bring those messages to life, I believe the creative realm should be a play place more than a workspace. And, while good ideas can come from anywhere, great ideas are most often a joint effort.
Regardless of where I fit in that process, taking an idea from goodness to greatness is what compels me to never stop pushing to find the next solution, solve the next puzzle and help create the next moment of clarity—the moment it all comes together to bring “the one thing” to life in a way that speaks to the consumer through the noise.
And that one thing, is never the same thing—because creativity isn’t about finding a formula, but about the relentless pursuit of what’s new, what’s true, and what matters most to people right now.
